 Ablation in basic terms is the removal of material. It may be removing the insulation from a very fine wire, without damaging the underlying material, or in other instances, it will be selectively removing a coating from a device, a common example of this application would be removing parylene in selected locations on a coated device. We offer reel to reel wire stripping, selective coating removal on coated coiled wire and 6 axis coating removal on more complex geometries.
